The practice is located within easy walking distance of Chichester train station and the main bus terminal.
There is a ground floor surgery that makes disabled access easy.
Clive Goves qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1977. Over the next five years he obtained extensive experience working in London at Guy’s Hospital and the Royal Dental Hospital in Conservative and Prosthetic dentistry combining this with further academic studies leading to an MSc in Conservative dentistry. Since 1983 he worked continuously in private practice, with further training in implant dentistry in Sweden whilst maintaining a part-time teaching commitment at Guy’s Hospital. Prior to working in Chichester, his practice was located close to Wimpole Street in London’s West End.
His name was placed on the specialist list in Prosthodontics (simply defined as the “art and science of replacing missing teeth”) shortly after it was opened in 1999. His postgraduate MSc in Conservative dentistry – the general advanced restoring of teeth – makes him well qualified to work within the scope of general practice.
Jonathan Murphy qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1998 and over the next few years gained further experience in hospital departments and general dental practice before starting specialist training in 2001. His name was placed on the Specialist Register in Prosthodontics in 2005. Jonathan has worked since then in Specialist Practice in Haywards Heath and Hove treating patients by referral requiring advanced and complex treatments with the latest techniques and materials currently available. His professionalism and skills are well known amongst his colleagues. He is now pleased to join this practice as a valued team member and to work in closer proximity to where he lives with his wife and family in the Chichester area.
A full range of dental treatment is available with referrals from colleagues welcome. Hygienist treatments are also provided by Joanne Ansell our qualified hygienist who works at the Practice on Mondays and Fridays.
