, All on 4 Dental Implants

An effective and affordable solution for missing teeth, All on 4 enables us to fit full upper and lower arches of replacement teeth in just one day. The procedure uses four to six dental implants placed at strategically planned positions in the mouth, providing a solid foundation for a fixed bridge. All on 4 dental implants is an option even for patients who have experienced bone loss.

All on 4 implant dentures also allow patients to replace their denture with natural-looking fixed teeth without the high cost associated with dental implants. The new teeth look, feel and function just as natural teeth would, restoring confidence and giving back the smile you deserve.

Key benefits of All on 4 dental implants

There are many benefits in getting dental implants and they are deemed as the closer thing to natural teeth. Some of the benefits of All on 4 include: –

  • Fewer Implants: Typically requires only four implants per arch, minimising surgical invasiveness.
  • Immediate Function: In many cases, temporary teeth can be attached the same day as surgery, allowing for immediate function and improved aesthetics.
  • Bone Preservation: Strategic implant placement can help stimulate and preserve jawbone density.
  • Improved Stability: Offers greater stability compared to traditional dentures, reducing slippage and discomfort.
  • Enhanced Quality of Life: Enables patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence, improving overall quality of life.
  • Natural Appearance: All on 4 implants act just like your natural teeth. Restores a natural-looking smile and facial contours. Plus, you will be able to eat, drink and talk just as you did before.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Fewer implants may translate to lower overall costs compared to some other treatment options.
  • Durability: When properly cared for, All-on-4 implants can last for many years.
  • Restores Confidence: Patients often feel more confident to smile.

What does dental implant treatment involve?

At Chichester Dental, we take the time to make sure you are completely happy and informed every step of the way.

Step 1

We carry out a full examination and assessment of your teeth, gums and jaw to ensure you are suitable for implant treatment. We create your bespoke treatment plan and discuss it with you in detail to make sure you are happy with the proposed dental work, timeframe and estimated costs.

Step 2

We use advanced digital scans and images to accurately plan the precise positions for your dental implants. If you need preparatory treatment, such as a bone graft to replace insufficient bone volume in your jaw, this is carried out.

Step 3

To ensure your comfort during the procedure, you will be given anaesthesia. Four strategically placed implants will then be surgically inserted into your jawbone. In many cases, a temporary set of teeth, known as a “provisional prosthesis,” can be attached to the implants on the same day. This allows for immediate function and improved aesthetics.

Step 4

Over the next few months, the implants will fuse with the jawbone, a process known as osseointegration. Regular checkups will be scheduled to monitor the healing process and make any necessary adjustments. Once osseointegration is complete, impressions will be taken to create your final set of teeth. The final prosthesis will then be securely attached to the implants.
